THE POSITION: SALES ASSITANT FOR MBFW MARLOW

We’re looking for a versatile new member of our MBFW retail team in Marlow who is a good communicator, a peoples person, keen to get involved in a positive workplace and who most importantly has excellent retail and customer skills to drive shop sales.The role of the Retail Assistant is to work with the Shop Manager to manage the store to the highest standard. This role will hold a certin level of responsibility when (once trained) you are working independently to achieve the very best for MBFW as a brand in our Marlow store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Reporting into the Shop Manager and to ensure sales and profit targets are achieved.- Supporting the manager

– Ensuring the consistent delivery of MBFW’s customer service experience leading by example and by exceptional interactions with the customer.

– Ensuring all staff work to the MBFW customer experience and brand guidelines within the shop.

– Behaving in a manner that represents the values of the MBFW brand, adhering to company guidelines and policies.

– Actively seeking opportunities to develop the profile of the MBFW brand in the retail environments and engage their customers, increase conversion, develop relevent and appropriate relationships.

– Ensure marketing materials such as brochures and leaflets are handed out and all staff collect customer names to sign up to the email database.

– Undertake frequent stock takes, checking stocks in store are selling correctly.

– Communicating with MBFW’s area manager

– Ensuring company and brand standards are maintained as well as adhering to H&S guidelines.

– Flexible schedule; available to work flexibly to fill gaps where staff rota demands.

– Retail experience not necessary but helpful
– Commercial acumen
– Confident and outgoing; able to effectively communicate the brand story
– Experience working within a team
– A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving is also essential
– Attention to detail is a must
– Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
– Organized, multitask, efficient and punctual
– Ability to communicate effectively with customers and staff
Confident operating an Ipad and basic technology relating to our POS system
– Willingness to learn and engage
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally
– A proactive and pragmatic approach to problem solving
– Attention to detail is a must
– Ability to be flexible with your approach to being part of a wonderful team
